BHARATIYA EKTA PARV-2024

The Bharatiya Ekta Parv at Kendriya Vidyalaya sangathan is a celebration of India's unity in diversity, featuring cultural performances, speeches, and traditional rituals that honor the country’s heritage. The event includes the Guard of Honour by NCC cadets, welcoming the distinguished guests and emphasizing discipline and patriotism.

The program begins with the arrival of guests and a traditional Veda Ashirvachanam (chanting of Vedic hymns) to invoke blessings. The Welcome Address by Smt. Nidhi Pandey, Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, highlights the importance of education in fostering national unity and cultural preservation.

Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, as the Guest of Honour, will address the audience, underscoring the role of cultural heritage in national integration, the value of arts in personal development, and the contribution of classical dance forms in promoting unity.

Students will showcase the rich cultural diversity of India through performances of Haryanvi Dance, reflecting the rural traditions of Haryana, and Telangana Folk Dance (Bonalu), a devotional dance celebrating the Bonalu festival in honor of Goddess Mahakali. These performances will bring to life the vibrant folk traditions of their respective regions.

The program will celebrate India’s heritage through its classical dance forms and folk traditions, emphasizing the importance of unity, cultural pride, and the role of education in building a stronger nation.
