62nd KVS FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION14th December 2024 (Second Saturday)
The 62nd KVS Foundation Day at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Tirumalgiri will begin with the arrival of distinguished guests, followed by a Guard of Honour by the NCC and Bharat Scouts and Guides. After the opening, the school will sing the KVS Song, and the welcome address will be delivered by Mrs. Sai Padma, Head Mistress of KVT.
Primary students will perform a skit/action song on unity, followed by a brief history of KVS by Smt. Sree Lakshmi, PGT History. Sri P.S. Sundera Rao, a retired teacher, will share his experiences, and secondary students will present a dance.
Reflections on being a KVS employee will be shared by Sri T. Kumara Swamy, another retired teacher. Dr. Rita, a KVS alumna, will offer her blessings, and the program will conclude with a vote of thanks by Smt. K. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, tasked with the management and administration of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the country. It was established in 1963, with the primary objective of providing quality education to the children of central government employees, especially those who are frequently transferred across various locations.
