Constitution Day Celebration

Honoring the Past and Embracing the Present

On 26th November 2024, our school celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) with a vibrant and meaningful program during the morning assembly. The event aimed to honor the architects of the Constitution and reflect on its relevance in modern life.

The celebration began with a speech highlighting the significance of Constitution Day and the role it plays in guiding our democracy. Our esteemed Principal K chandra shekargaru then led the gathering in reading the Preamble to the Indian Constitution, reaffirming the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

A special skit was performed by the students to bring the event to life. The first part of the skit portrayed key contributors to the Indian Constitution, including Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Sarojini Naidu, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The young actors, dressed as these eminent leaders, depicted their efforts and sacrifices in creating a strong framework for the nation.

The second part of the skit shifted focus to modern citizens, where students portrayed how the Constitution positively impacts our daily lives. They showcased scenarios demonstrating fundamental rights, such as the right to education, freedom of speech, and equality, alongside fundamental duties like respecting the law and protecting the environment. Through these performances, they highlighted how the Constitution helps ensure a fair and progressive society.

The program concluded with a patriotic song and a collective pledge by students and teachers to uphold the values of the Constitution in their actions and decisions.

This celebration not only honored the visionaries who framed the Constitution but also educated everyone about its continued significance in shaping our lives as responsible and empowered citizen.
